You see me where I am now… like this snapshot. You don’t see the hurt, the pain, the struggle, the grind. You don’t see the years of learning to wait, of learning to trust.
“God is always on time” is one of those clichés I’ve heard for years and I know there’s truth to it, but God’s timing is not what many people think it is. It’s not some magical moment in the future where all the stars align and life is suddenly good. In fact, many of us mistake accepting God’s timing for inaction… The reality is you still have to take whatever steps He puts in front of you. When we do that, He can compress what should take years into moments if He chooses to.
I suspect His timing has more to do with our hearts condition than His overall plan.
